Rhonda entered the plumbing industry in 1980. Her experience comes from the startup of a joint business venture with her husband many years ago. She worked on the finance side of the business while her husband worked with their customers. She learned the in's and out's of running a small business while raising her four children from home.
Rhonda invested in the startup of COPPERA, LLC in 2007 when she hired Sam Dowdy Jr. to run and manage the new company. Rhonda oversees all aspects of the company through her managers on a monthly basis. As president, Rhondal focuses on the comapny's continued growth and stable financial structure. Rhonda is dedicated to her faith, family, and her businesses.
Sam Dowdy Jr.
Sam’s career began in his early teens and earned his master plumbing
license at the age of 21. Sam started in a small office with 2 personnel in
Giddings, TX. In 2006, Sam estimated and worked on his first commercial
project. After a successful first commercial project, Sam decided the commercial plumbing industry was where he wanted to make his living.
Sam has made it a point to continue to educate himself and his staff through class courses, books, and on-the-job training. Sam has attended the Advanced Project Manager training course, Essentials of Project Management, and Manager to CEO through PHCC (Plumbing and Heating Cooling Contractors Association). He also
focused on continued growth and training through Cogent Analytics and PHCC.
As Finanace Manager, Liz is responsible for overseeing all aspects of COPPERA, LLCs financial operations. This inlcues but is not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, cashflow management, budgeting, and appropriate utilization of capital. Liz works closely with the CPA to ensure all financial functions and reporting's are processed and accurate.
Liz is a native Texan that has worked with COPPERA since 2014. She received a BA in Psychology with a minor in Communications from Texas State University. Liz deveopled her finance and management skills while working in the banking industry for 9+ years prior to joining COPPERA. She is driven to build great teams and company culture within COPPERA while manageing accounting functions.
Business Development Manager
With nearly 20 years in the development and planning fields, Faith has varied and extensive experience in the construction industray. She understands the entire process of construction; from planning, to entitlements, to permitting, to develompment, to construction, to marketing, and finally sales. Faith thrives on building relationships with clients. Trust, transparency, accessibilty, customer service, and a genuine care for people is what motivates Faith as our Business Development Manager. Faith was recently nominated for a LUNA Award for "Outstanding Professional of the Year".
Faith earned her BA in City Planning and has a Minor in Cultural Geography from San Diego State University. Her previous experience includes working for two of the country's largest developers in Customer Service, Marketing, and finally Sales. Faith also worked as a planner for The City of Oceanside, California. She currently serves on the Taylor Planning and Zoning Commission, the Taylor Heritage Society, and is a hospice volunteer. Her inherent love of people and ability to create trusting relationships, has made her a natural fit as a Business Development Manager.
Human Resources Manager
As the Human Resources Manager, Taylor is the authority on creating excellent Company Culture at COPPERA, LLC. She manages all recruiting, on-boarding, benefits, and employee relations. Taylor has a passion for people and ensures our employees are well taken care by performing monthly trainings, ensuring the field crew is equiped with the proper safety gear, and providing support to all employees both professionally and personally.
Taylor attended Texas State University where she majored in Public Administration. Taylor serves as historian on the PTO Board at her children's school and enjoys being active particpant in her community.
